Mini Golf (for Guests and Fellows)

The Mini Links and Drinks leadership believes that ACMA’s Virtual Annual Meeting in September offers an  excellent opportunity for our dedicated mini-golfers to once again demonstrate their ingenuity, sense of humor and, of course, expertise on the golfing greens.  If there is sufficient interest–i.e., at least 20 participants--the newly crowned Mini-Golf Czar, David Allen, is prepared to stage our annual tournament, but in a virtual and socially distanced format.  Each participant would play a round of mini-golf at the local course of the participant’s choice during the qualification period (to be determined when sufficient participants show interest, but roughly within the 2 weeks prior to the Meeting) and provide a facsimile of the score card, with a signed statement attesting to the stroke total (under the pains and penalties of perjury).  Teams of four will be selected randomly by the Czar, with the lowest total 4 person scores being declared Mini Links and Drinks 2020 Virtual Champions.  Prizes of great sentimental but limited economic value (e.g., bobble heads, Mardi Gras favors, toys suitable for 7 year olds, etc.) will be awarded to the lowest teams, with virtual bragging rights until the next tournament.
